Mahavatar Narsimha Crosses R100 Crores in Tollywood BO

 The epic action film of mythology, Mahavatar Narsimha, has now officially joined the prestigious club of having collected 100 crores as the film has breached the prize club of 100 crores. Directed by one of the most visionary filmmaker of our times i.e. S.S. Virat and starring Rudraksh Rao as the titular character the film not only captured the imagination of the audiences but has withstood challenge of stiff competition posed by new releases.

Released a fortnight ago, the film was praised to death on account of its spectacular visuals, strong narration, and intense acting. Perfectly combining the effects of VFX-fuelled spectacle and spiritual projection Mahavatar Narsimha has resonated with audiences of all ages and demographics.

In spite of the entry of the big-banner releases during the last week, the box office collections of Mahavatar Narsimha have not indicated any loss. The analysts think that the movie has been enjoying strong word-of-mouth and repeat viewership thereby boosting its prolonged success at the box office.

Trade sources state that the film has collected 102.4 crore (gross) as on Wednesday and 65 crore of this has come just in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It has also been doing tremendously well in the international markets especially in the US and Australia.

As the festive season is just ahead and there is hardly any competition in the mythological genre, Mahavatar Narsimha stands to resume its dream run. It is already being buzzed that there will be sequel as well as the ability to have dubbed version on pan India release which has the capacity to further increase its reach and revenue.

There is a strong possibility that in the event of such upward trend, Mahavatar Narsimha could easily become one of the top-grossing Telugu movies in the history of Indian cinema, an achievement which few movies with ancient legend and divine scripture have historically achieved.
